This is the dramatic and true story of a boy named Patrick who ws kidnapped and sold into slavery in Ireland. He escaped to England and France and many years later returned to covert the Irish to Christianity. It is based on St. Patrick's own writings, especially Convessio, and contrasts the legends about Patrick with the historical reality of his life.
