He knows of no other existence, no other way this ought to be. His life began here, when he awoke to this chaos. To these people. These ghosts. And her. So he pulls himself away. Pushes himself inside, where he can see the truth. He knows nothing. No one knows anything at all. And what this place is, who he is, may be something he could never understand.
