Angels at Arthur's
en Limba Engleză Paperback
Coming from a broken home, and bitterly disillusioned by life and the world-at-large, Thomas Stirk is a directionless rebel who fills his "big empty" with drug deals, drunken binges, and snorting cocaine. After one particularly heavy night of drinking, Thomas wakes up alone in the back of a stranger's SUV to the sound of angry police who demand the answer to one question: Where is Rachel "Codi" Joseph, the missing owner of the car?
Released for lack of evidence, Thomas returns to his embittered life filled with lingering questions about Codi's mysterious disappearance. Then, in a drug-enhanced moment of bravado, he unleashes a bitter verbal tirade on a local crowded church. But in a shocking turn of events, Thomas switches realities-from the seen to the unseen-and finds himself confronted by a trio of angel mentors who lead him down a path of deep self-examination-and ultimately redemption.
Armed with newfound knowledge and divine inspiration, Thomas, still troubled by Codi's abduction, uncovers the truth behind her kidnapping and embarks on a harrowing mission to save her from her captors. Will Thomas rescue Codi in time? And what will the future have in store for Thomas-and for Codi-if he succeeds?

Notă biografică
A native of south Texas, James H. White attended Texas Christian University and earned a BS in petroleum geology. Post graduation he joined the US Air Force and, after earning his wings as a pilot, was stationed at Charleston Air Force Base where he flew with the 17th Airlift Squadron on missions all over the world. After his USAF career, he went on to build a successful international furniture, lamp, and accessory enterprise with manufacturers throughout the Far East and maintained wholesale showrooms in multiple locations around the United States. Following a brief-and admittedly tedious-retirement, he now conducts security background investigations for individuals requiring top-secret clearances for positions within military agencies and homeland security.
Happily married to his wife, Charlotte, and the proud father of three daughters, White is a committed Christian who currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina.
