John F. Prescott, MA, VetMB, PhD, is Professor in the Department of Pathobiology at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario. Patricia M. Dowling, DVM, MS, DACVIM, DACVCP, is Professor of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
