Patricia-Luciana RUNCAN currently works as a Senior Lecturer at the West University of Timisoara (Romania). She has a BA in Sociology from the same University, a BA in Law from the "Tibiscus" University of Timisoara, and a PhD in Sociology from the West University of Timisoara. Her main areas of interest include social work and sociology. She authored: Social Workers Face to Face with Their Clients (2006), Social Work: Family and Child (2008), Child Protection in Romania (2009), The National System of Social Work (2009), Depression in the Elderly (2010), Successful Scientific Paper in Humanities (2010), and The Case Management Method (2011). Georgeta RATA currently works as an Associate Professor at the Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Timisoara (Romania). She has a BA in French and English and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Bucharest (Romania). Her main areas of interest include languages, communication, education sciences. She has co-edited Social Sciences Today: Between Theory and Practice (2010) and Academic Days of Timisoara: Social Sciences Today (2011). Stefan COJOCARU is currently an Associate Professor at the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi (Romania). He has a BA in Sociology and Politology, and MA in Community Management and Social Management and a PhD in Sociology from the same University. His areas of interest include methodology of sociology research, supervision in social work, appreciative methods of social intervention, appreciative models in the area of social work, case management and supervision. He authored Appreciative Methods in Social Work: Enquiry, Supervision and Case Management (2005) and Project of Intervention in Social Work: From Financing Projects to Individual Intervention Plans (2006) and co-authored Case Management in Child Protection: Assessment of Services and Practices in Romania (2008).
