Notă biografică
Tova Hartman is a professor of gender studies and education. She has written widely on the intersection of gender, religion, and education in scholarly journals and periodicals and is the author of Appropriately Subversive: Modern Mothers in Traditional Religions (2003) and Feminism Encounters Traditional Judaism: Resistance and Accommodation (2008) which won the National Jewish Book Award. She is among the founders of Shirah Hadasha, an Orthodox feminist synagogue in Jerusalem, and more recently, Shma Koleinu, an institute for prayer, study, spirituality and communityCharlie Buckholtz is a Rabbi and Senior Editor at Shalom Hartman Institute. He is co-author of The God Who Hates Lies (2011).
