It also delineates responsibilities between Military Police and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command. It prescribes the authority for conducting criminal investigations, crime prevention surveys, protective service missions, force protection and antiterrorism efforts and the collection, retention, and dissemination of criminal information.
