This regulation, Army Regulation AR 58-1 Motor Transportation-General Management, Acquisition, and Use of Motor Vehicles July 2014, prescribes policies, responsibilities, and procedures for the management, acquisition, and use of Army-owned, Army-leased, or otherwise controlled nontactical vehicles (NTVs). This regulation implements Department of Defense (DOD) Directive 4500.36 and incorporates information for managing Commercial Design Vehicles, Federal Supply Classification 2300.
