Notă biografică

Deni Bown is the author of the first two editions of Aroids: Plants of the Arum Family, published in 1988 and 2000. She has written and illustrated several other books, including Encyclopedia of Herbs & Their Uses. Bown has won several awards for her work in photography and writing, including the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year and the Garden Writer’s Association of America Award. She is past honorary president of the Herb Society of America, has served several times as board member of the International Aroid Society, and is vice president of the European Herb Society.
