Susan C. Fox lived near Ground Zero in the Financial District in New York City from August 2002- November 2006. She received her MA in Philosophy and her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Binghamton University in upstate New York. She currently teaches at the Corcoran College of Art & Design and lives inWashington, DC with her husband and son. As the Dust Settles: Finding Life at Ground Zero is her first book.
