Karen Moreno Scott is a proud multiracial bilingual Professional Life Coach and Spiritual and Wellness Practitioner, founder of Luna Nueva Wellness Retreats & Healing Cicles, wife, mother, and now author. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, by her immigrant Guatemalan mother, Elsie. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles, California, and later, her certification in professional life coaching from Life Purpose Institute in San Diego, California, a coaching program accredited by The International Coaching Federation. She currently serves as a pro bono wellness practitioner at Circle of Hope, a nonprofit organization which provides resources and services to active and recovering cancer patients. Karen prides herself in serving her Spanish speaking community and women of color throughout the nation. Her dream is to expand her practice globally and open low-cost bilingual women wellness centers where women can feel supported and empowered to create a path for generational wellness. Karen currently lives in Southern California, with Michael, her loving and supportive husband, with whom she shares a blended family of adult children, Michael, Jr., Samantha, Adriana, and Aaron.
