Attachment Theory
Autor Matthew K. Russelen Limba Engleză Paperback – 27 oct 2020
During the last century numerous studies have taken hold on the type of relationship between the child and the attachment figure.
From the first half of 1900, the first theories, more or less verified, on the role of attachment in the psycho-physical development of the child were already emerging, until the studies of John Bowlby, considered to date the father of this theory.
The term attachment refers to the type of attachment of a person that can be secure or insecure. Having a secure attachment means feeling secure and protected, while having an insecure attachment implies a multitude of concomitant and conflicting emotions towards one's primary figure, such as love, addiction, fear of rejection, vigilance and irritability.
This short guide gives you the basis to understand this theory... and consequently... It makes you reflect on the attitudes you have in interpersonal relationships.
Thanks to this guide you will be able to:
- understand what the Attachment theory is
- what are the different Attachment types
- what is your Attachment type
- how anxiety develops in relationships
- what are the ways to solve problems caused by the Attachment
Many relationships are "sick". The only real solution is awareness.
