Who has been pulling the strings throughout history? A brilliantly imagined dystopian tale and a breathtaking action thriller rolled into one. Attrition of the Gods is like the hunger games on steroids, Logan's Run for the 21st centenary. What the reviewers are saying? "Incredibly Imaginative" - Kirkus indie reviews A real mind opener, that gives you a much more critical outlook on life - Twitch.tv/Bigdaddy "A #1 thriller that will leave you questioning everything you thought to be true." - Elizabeth Wright, BestChapLit.com "Everything you think you know is tested and teased in this action romp through human history." - Fiction Writer, kelleytownley.com Behind the pages of history and the rhetoric of world leaders, a game is being played for dominion over the human race by a species we have evolved to forget those that lie in the shadows and whisper to us when we are at our most vulnerable. It's been running since the time of King Solomon and has influenced everything we hold dear and central to our humanity: from our major religions, through to the Holocaust. Everything has been at their hands and now a winner is in sight. But it's not only humans that are open to corruption. The rules have been broken and the simple game has turned into a battle for survival. Who are they Why are they here? And where does this leave the human race? We need a champion of our own, someone to win this game for us and save mankind. "It's time you learnt the truth. I only hope you can forgive me."

Notă biografică

PG describes himself as a self made pauper, after losing his millions not once but twice. The first time he made his fortune was on the Balearic islands in the eighties running huge events for all the top clubs. PG admits to living the rock star lifestyle and spent most of his money on drugs, drink and women. The rest he says, paraphrasing the great George Best, "I wasted." Paul was forced to leave the Islands after a brief affair with the local gangster's daughter and after a year long wander around North Africa he returned to England determined to re gain his fortune. PG hooked up with some old friends from Ibiza and Majorca and sorted out a venue for his plan to open a late night Balearic style club. Thwarted by red tape, he resorted to plan B. Kicking the doors open of an old disused railway stores, he and two DJs set up their gear and so began the warehouse party phenomenon of the early nineties. Soon he was organizing raves for tens of thousands of youths all partying the night away. "The money was obscene," he states, but once bitten twice an idiot, PG managed to squander his money once more partying harder and longer than any of the paying guests. Waking up in hospital after life threatening internal haemorrhaging, PG decided he had to change his ways. A long term partner and three children followed and although the relationship did not last PG now realized his responsibility was to his beautiful children. PG returned to his ancestral home in Ireland and now follows his dream of creating stories about wild characters, rather than living as one.
