Notă biografică
PG describes himself as a self made pauper, after losing his millions not once but twice. The first time he made his fortune was on the Balearic islands in the eighties running huge events for all the top clubs. PG admits to living the rock star lifestyle and spent most of his money on drugs, drink and women. The rest he says, paraphrasing the great George Best, "I wasted." Paul was forced to leave the Islands after a brief affair with the local gangster's daughter and after a year long wander around North Africa he returned to England determined to re gain his fortune. PG hooked up with some old friends from Ibiza and Majorca and sorted out a venue for his plan to open a late night Balearic style club. Thwarted by red tape, he resorted to plan B. Kicking the doors open of an old disused railway stores, he and two DJs set up their gear and so began the warehouse party phenomenon of the early nineties. Soon he was organizing raves for tens of thousands of youths all partying the night away. "The money was obscene," he states, but once bitten twice an idiot, PG managed to squander his money once more partying harder and longer than any of the paying guests. Waking up in hospital after life threatening internal haemorrhaging, PG decided he had to change his ways. A long term partner and three children followed and although the relationship did not last PG now realized his responsibility was to his beautiful children. PG returned to his ancestral home in Ireland and now follows his dream of creating stories about wild characters, rather than living as one.
