Notă biografică

All four members of the editorial group have been long-standing associates of the Australian Dictionary of Biography as researchers, writers and editors, and all are members of the New South Wales working party.

Jill Roe is chair of the ADB editorial board, as well as emeritus professor in history at Macquarie University.

Stephen Garton is Challis professor of history and Dean of Arts at the University of Sydney.

Beverley Kingston taught in the history school at the University of New South Wales for many years and is now an honorary research fellow there.

Chris Cunneen was formerly deputy general editor of the ADB in Canberra and is now a senior research fellow at Macquarie University, where he has been responsible for all research and editorial work for this volume.
