Recenzii
The autism spectrum is a wide landscape that this smartly conceived book maps with sweep and precision. The brilliant cartographer
In this comprehensive text, Christopher McDougle embraces the complexities of Autism, engaging a world-class group of clinicians and scientists to update us on its various clinical presentations, etiological heterogeneity, diagnostic strategies and multimodal treatments."
Chris McDougle and his colleagues have prepared a helpful text for students and more advanced trainees about advances in autism - diagnosis, etiology, and treatment. The book presents well-researched chapters in each of these areas, as well as some attention to a few other issues in autism, including the key area of transition to adulthood. Each chapter ends with a few key points for students to remember. The book is a welcome and useful addition to the training of the next generation of clinicians working with families caring for children and youth with autism spectrum disorders."
