Notă biografică

May L. O'Brien is the national Indigenous English literacy and numeracy strategy ambassador for the Department of Education, Science, and Training, and a patron of the Australian Principals Associations Professional Development Council's "Dare to Lead: Taking It On" project. She is the former superintendent of Aboriginal education for the Western Australian Ministry of Education. Angela Leaney is a professional illustrator. She has illustrated other children's books by May O'Brien, including Bawoo Stories, How Crows Became Black, The Kangaroos Who Wanted to Be People, Smartie Pants, and Too Big for Your Boots.
