Jack "Stace" Stacey is a former FBI Agent and the owner of a private investigative agency in Mobile, AL. He is retained to perform investigative services in regard to the defense of a young and beautiful socialite. She has been arrested and charged with the murder of her husband. The prosecutor's case is based primarily on circumstantial evidence with political overtones.
