Beauregard and the Blizzard

In this beautifully illustrated adventure story, Beauregard has everything a cat could want-a loving family, a comfortable home, and plenty of places to explore outside. With such a wonderful life, what could possibly go wrong?

Ten-year-old Sara loves Beauregard and treats him like a member of her family. She enjoys growing up in the suburbs of Washington, DC, playing with the other kids in the neighborhood and following Beauregard on outdoor adventures. Her daddy is an attorney and isn't home much, but Mama stays home and takes good care of Sara and her sisters.

Mama wants to raise her daughters to be smart, confident, and kind. She teaches them to think for themselves and always treat others with respect-even animals.

When a violent winter storm sweeps across the suburbs and traps Beauregard somewhere outside, Sara is desperate to find him before it's too late. She begs Mama to let her search for him, and Mama doesn't know what to do-is it too dangerous for Sara to wander out in the blowing snow? But what about everything she's taught Sara about treating Beauregard like family? And what will happen to him if Sara doesn't find him?
