Actually Bonsai is not one type of tree but, various dissimilar class of trees or plants. The word Bonsai is better explained by breaking the word into two parts: Firstly Bon " means tray and Sai " means tree. So we get Bonsai tree, Meaning those trees or plants that are grown in trays and developed in such a way that they are smaller than their free growing equivalents.
