One day this thought went through my mind, "Sherry, 'I Am' the only one you need to please, that's all you need to do." I knew God was speaking directly to me. He called me by my name, Sherry, and used one of His names, "I Am." Since my childhood, I had been a people pleaser, seeking to please other people. The Lord informed me of His plan for my life: To change me from being a people pleaser to a God-pleasing person In her book, Beloved, I Love You , Sherry shares her relationship with Jesus. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another" (John 13:34, NIV). Nuggets of Truth: Believers are commanded to love one another as Jesus Christ loves us. For broken marriages: Love performs an intricate operational procedure to tie the broken bonds of the marriage relationship together with Himself but only if each person agrees to submit to His will. Jesus Christ will not force His will against any person's will. The closer your relationship with Jesus Christ, the closer your relationship with each other.
