Bended Knees is about a short story where hope overcame disparity. A single mother, Ruby Jean who was determine to have her son succeed, out of a impoverish neighborhood, called Greenwood. It is a struggling farming community that once was a striving area until a canning factory moved away causing Greenwood to crumble.
