Notă biografică

Dr Iqbal Khan was born in Birmingham and qualified in medicine from the University of Sheffield in 1997. He had previously completed a dual honours degree in Biochemistry and Physiology and managed to intercalate research for a PhD (awarded in 1995) into the medical course.After completing studies, he trained as a junior doctor in the West Midlands and was appointed as a consultant gastroenterologist at Northampton General Hospital in June 2007. Because of his roles devoted to medical training is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer for the Universities of Leicester and Oxford.
