Research has shown that our time to build on a child's faith is limited; adding to that the mediocrity of the Christian society we live in, it further reiterates the necessity to overflow their hearts with truth. The idea behind this book's series of lessons is to start from the beginning, to explain in detail the Trinity and each part that God plays, developing a deep understanding of each and pointing them directly to His love. The idea is to go beyond what's contained in the average Sunday school lesson. Beyond Sunday School is unique in its approach as it warrants parent involvement by providing them with a handout with each lesson, assisting parents struggling to initiate spiritual discussions at home and further solidifying each lesson. This series of Sunday school lessons was developed alongside the Christian children's book series Spirit Heroes with intent to saturate a generation with the whole truth and make available Holy Spirit power and revelation early in life, paving the way to a successful walk with Christ.
