An adventure story. Two girls, Lori and Tulip, set off to the wilder parts of the countryside on horse, camping out and foraging for their meals. They discover abandoned villages and ruined mansions, swim in lonely lochs, explore ancient forests and take time to study the animals, birds and insects who live there. As they travel they come across potential life-threatening situations and don't hesitate to act and save the day!
