Beyond the Equator: Good To Go, cartea 2

Autor Jeffrey Vonk
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 2 oct 2019
Beyond The Equator tells the enthralling true story of world traveler Jeffrey Vonk. Having visited 60+ countries, and being pretty fearless by nature, his travelogue does not disappoint when it comes to delivering raw, unique stories. Backpacking can lead you to places that you never imagined ending up in. It was never his intention to be held at knife-point by thugs in the back streets of Colombia, or to get interrogated numerous times by the police and border patrol. He voluntarily gets locked up in a Peruvian prison, illegally climbed some of the highest peaks of the Andes mountain range, battling the elements of nature he drove 12,000 miles on a dirt bike through South America's uncharted terrain, and survived a car crash in the harsh winters of the Canadian Rockies. To put it simply: life happens before you know it. Join Jeffrey in his exuberant, funny and beautiful adventures, meanwhile informing you about local sightseeings, so you can experience the world in a way few people get to see. Are you good to go?

Notă biografică

Jeffrey Vonk started out as a carpenter, got himself certified as an outdoor sports instructor and made it to university through pure determination. Exploring new cultures is what he does best. Ever-yearning for adventure, he's traversed the arena of the world on foot, motorcycle, by tuk-tuk and on horseback. Being on the road is the sole passion of his heart. Getting himself into trouble at times, like a modern-day Marco Polo he follows in the footsteps of the first true explorers.
