He holds a doctorate in biblical studies from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. He is the author of "Conversion in the New Testament, a liturgist's Guide to Inclusive Language, "and is a contributor to "The Collegeville Pastoral Dictionary of Biblical Theology."
