Big Brother Ian: Ian and Sarah

Ilustrat de Pauline Oud
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 15 mar 2016 – vârsta de la 3 ani
Ian is going to be a big brother, but it takes some getting used to. At first, everything belonged to him, and he could play with anything. The little bottle, the little cradle, the little top, the little bath, and the little baby seat were toys for Ian and his toy bunny. When he becomes a big brother, Ian suddenly has to share all his toys. When the baby also takes up his mommy’s entire lap, Ian is fed up. But then something unexpected happens….

A warm and tender picture book about a toddler who has to get used to the fact that he is not an only child anymore. Pauline Oud paints a playful and familiar picture of what goes on in a child’s minds when a new little brother or sister comes home. For children aged 21/2 and up.

Notă biografică

Pauline Oud was born in 1963 in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Pauline has been working as an illustrator for over 15 years now. After her graduation from art school in 1985 she worked as an artist and art teacher for a while before applying her knowledge to her first love; children’s books.

Before she starts working, she likes to start her days with an hour running to clear her head and think about her drawings. She likes to collect children’s books, because they give her so much inspiration. When she is out of inspiration, she also likes to visit the Museum of medieval Art to stare at the books her colleagues have illustrated some 700 years ago.

She currently lives in Utrecht (the Netherlands) with her husband and her two children Roos and Walt.
