Recenzii
Expressive and energetic
[The book's] strength is the diversity on display in its pages. There's a rainbow of skin tones and hair colours ... and markers of religious and cultural diversity. Allows kids to practice identifying and dealing with their own big feelings
I'd like to highly recommend this book. It's so needed and useful especially when you read it during the mental health week. I think every primary school should have this book
Simple premise, but very powerful. The illustrations are beautiful ... The characters in the book are diverse, and the rhyming text is charming
This showcases some of the finest in children's picture book writing. Never twee, this book celebrates emotions, including the big ones, with a dose of humour and illustrations that are never short of stunning ... a fun class book for reading aloud and learning about emotions, or a cosy bedtime ritual to curl up and look through the pictures
Penfold and Kaufman have outdone themselves in delivering a vital message in today's political climate
A lively, timely picture book
A celebration as much as it is a story
This book has a lovely array of representation and diversity which was brilliant to see. Really addresses the complexity of feelings and how overwhelming this can be for a child
Inclusive and absorbing, this reassuring picture book helps children name and acknowledge feelings of all kinds, and develop empathy skills [.] This is a lovely book with so many fantastic messages within it
