Harry Nehls Has birded the Willamette Valley since 1949. He lectures and writes about birds for the Audubon Society of Portland, has authored thee books, serves as Secretary of the Oregon Bird Records Committee and is subregional editor for North American Birds.Tom Aversa Co-author of Birds of the Puget Sound Region, co-author of Birds of Southwestern British Columbia, records compiler for the Washington Ornithological Society, and member of the Washington Bird Records Committee, has worked at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle since arriving from Massachusetts in 1996.Hal Opperman Principal author of A Birder's Guide to Washington, co-author of Birds of the Puget Sound Region, co-author of Birds of Southwestern British Columbia, has lived in Seattle area since 1967. He is past editor of the Washington Ornithological Society's journal, Washington Birds.
