Notă biografică

Anette Pankratz is Professor for British Cultural Studies at Ruhr-Universitat Bochum. Her research interests include representations of death and dying in contemporary British drama. She has also co-edited a special issue of the Journal for the Study of British Cultures on birth and death. Claus-Ulrich Viol is Lecturer for British Cultural Studies at Ruhr-Universitat Bochum. His research interests include the bio-politics of pregnancy and birth, the James Bond phenomenon, and popular music. Ariane de Waal is Research Assistant at Ruhr-Universitat Bochum. Her research interests include cultural constructions of childbirth, urban spaces, and representations of the 'war on terror'.
