Black Moon is the first in a series of short stories with a supernatural theme aimed at young people who find it difficult to sustain interest in reading for pleasure. The book is set on a bleak English moorland where young Tom Kirk finds himself stranded. He has just got his first car and is enjoying his first taste of real independence when a terrible accident occurs and he has a fatal accident. However Tom experiences an alternative existence following this and is offered a new purpose in this new realm.
