The world is a melting pot with many different races, and it's OK to be different. It took Zoie many years to understand and be at peace with who she is when she looks in the mirror.

God, family, and friends are her support group in helping her stay focused on the big picture and that picture is she was made just the way God wanted her and she is beautiful in His eyes. Even as an adult in today's world, she still runs into people that do not accept her skin color. When this occurs, she smiles, says a small prayer for them, and always focuses on who she is today and where she is going tomorrow.

About the Author

Zoie V Little was born and raised in Concord, New Hampshire, minus the first six years of her life, where she lived in Florida. She works full time as a Branch Account Manager at a financial company in Concord. She is a very active member in her church, Immanuel Community Church.

Little graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology along with a Minor in Human Services. Before earning her Bachelor's in Psychology, she earned an Associate's in Business Management.

Working with people has always been her passion. She has always encouraged individuals to be the best they can be for themselves and others. Little is very strong in her faith and believes her Mother and Father are her guardian angels, helping her in her life's journey every single day.
