Paul Connor Cert Ed (FE), PG Cert Ed (ODE), LLB is a Police Training Consultant and has been heavily involved in training police officers for police promotion examinations for a number of years. Paul is also the consultant editor for the Blackstone's Police Manuals 2025 and author of Blackstone's Sergeants' and Inspectors' Mock Examination Paper 2025 and Blackstone's Police Investigators' Q&A 2025.David Johnston LLB, LLM is a barrister and Chief Superintendent of Specialist Operations in the Metropolitan Police Service. Formerly a member of the NPT Examinations and Assessment team, he is a former OSPRE® Assessor and previously worked as a legal researcher for the Home Office in Harrogate.Glenn Hutton BA, MPhil, Chartered FCIPD was formerly a Superintendent in North Yorkshire Police. He has worked as Head of NPT Examinations and Assessment, Head of Training in North Yorkshire and as both Course Director and Director of Studies at the Police Staff College, Bramshill.Andy Cox is a Detective Chief Superintendent with the Metropolitan Police. Previously he was he was Detective Superintendent lead for Vision Zero, Road Death, and Transport Crime Investigation with the Metropolitan Police. He is Chair of the national strategic board for serious collision investigation, and holds a Masters degree in Criminology and Leadership from Cambridge University.Elliot Gold is a barrister at Serjeants' Inn Chambers, having been called to the Bar in 2001, practising in police law, public law, mental capacity, and discrimination. In 2021, he was named professional discipline 'junior of the year' by Chambers and Partners. He is also a contributing author to the forthcoming edition of Police Misconduct, Complaints and Public Regulation, to be published by Oxford University Press.Neil Cross is a Senior Learning and Development Manager within the Home Office.
