Bloody Bill

Autor Trularin
en Limba Engleză Paperback
Bloody Bill: Sailor, Prisoner, Husband, Spy and Statesman William Cole and his family are members of better society in London when his father's promotion takes them to the New World and a city called Boston. His adventure begins when pirates board their vessel. He and three friends manage to steal the pirate ship only to surrender it later after challenges at sea. The four of them are taken by the marauders to New Orleans and sold as slaves where William earns his nickname "Bloody Bill." Upon his escape from captivity, he joins the Choctaw Indians where he falls in love with the chief's daughter, eventually taking her as his wife. He and his companions trek from the Indian village near the New Orleans area to Boston. He joins his parents on the eve of civil unrest as the population of Boston prepares to deal with King George III. Back in contact with his family, the American Revolution sets him on a path to begin his career as a spy for the United State under John Adams. With the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown, William's services appear to be at an end until he is called forth to help with the negotiation of the first treaty between The United States of America and three Indian Nations in 1785-1786.
