imagine books are a series of children's books intended for the 4-6 year old child to promote the use of imagination and creativity while interacting with an adult. At the end of the project each child has a self illustrated book to put on the family book shelf or send to Grandma as a gift. It is a life long keepsake.imagine books(TM)Say "Goodbye" to refrigerator art.Dear Special Adult, What is an imagine book?Once they are completed, imagine books can be a gift to a Grandparent, or another Special Adult, or saved on a bookshelf for later in life.An imagine book is an interactive experience between a Special Adult* and a child. The Special Adult reads the story aloud and the child provides the illustrations to the story on the opposite page. There are no particular rules for imagine books though they are not designed to hand to a child and be left on his or her own.Each page contains a separate idea which when combined creates a story. Please read the whole story out loud and then take one page at a time to discuss what is happening on the page and then allow the child's imagination to take over as they illustrate the page.There are no mistakes, but a second chance page is provided- just in case.Colored pencils or crayons are suggested.
