1963: An RAF V-Bomber goes missing on a delivery flight to the Woomera atomic test range in outback Australia. The 'Blue Steel' nuclear stand-off weapon that it is carrying falls into the hands of Indonesian president Sukarno. He threatens to sell it to Russia if Great Britain interferes with his plan to dominate all of Southeast Asia. Britain appeals to Australia for help.Brad Grant and Tony Martin are Intelligence field officers on assignment from the RAAF to a secret agency known as 'AFIS' (Air Force Intelligence Service.)
