Recenzii
This volume, organized around Bonhoeffer's provocative engagement with Chalcedonian Christology, is a gem! The contributions from senior scholars are masterpieces, and the work of the younger generation shows that Bonhoeffer scholarship has a bright future.
This volume approaches Bonhoeffer's Chalcedonian Christology from a multi-perspective including doctrinal, ecclesiological, ethical, and philosophical perspectives. The book hereby contributes to previous studies on Chalcedon in Bonhoeffer's thought and explores the fullness of what it means today that Christ is truly God and truly man.
Bonhoeffer's radical Christological reflections on the "who" of Christ, discipleship, the church and the world have had almost immeasurable impact on the theology of the last eighty years. This volume is a wonderful, and much needed, resource for anyone seeking to understand not only Bonhoeffer but also Christology more fully.
