He took advantage of every opportunity to ingratiate himself to those with power and influence, and learned to grease the palms of all the right people. He played the part of a well-educated, polished mobster with such success even he believed it to be true.
He was a Playboy key club member, wore custom-made designer shirts, and his suits were tailor-made. He wore a flashy ring with a diamond the size of a raisin on the right hand of his manicured nails. Although he never maintained a monogamous relationship, even during his five marriages, he treated every one of his ladies respectfully regardless of the role they played in his life.
