Born to Lead, Led to Serve

This world needs men of valor, men whose pursuit of Christ make them worthy of respect.

But men that are worthy are not born - they are made. And although you may have been born to lead, you were not born ready to lead. True leaders are made through daily shaping on God's anvil with hammers wrought from divine discipline.

When faced with raising two boys to become men of integrity and honor, in a world that no longer holds these traits in high esteem, my fervent prayer for wisdom began a decade long journey of personal lessons. On this journey, I was joined by a most unexpected, yet welcome travel companion, my own father. Together we chronicled God's message of multi-generational responsibility, leadership, honor, integrity, faithfulness, persistence, and other critical personality traits into a daily devotional.
