Millions of people have addictions throughout the world. Many of us think the LDS culture is not at risk because of our beliefs, however, the LDS culture is not immune to addiction. The opioid epidemic in Utah alone is a reason for all of us to be concerned. Breaking Free from the Shame of Addiction is an inspirational book based on Gospel doctrine. This book is not about overcoming addiction (although, that would hopefully become the end goal) but rather it's about overcoming the shame of addiction.
