Kathleen Brush began 20 very fulfilling years as a turnaround executive for high tech companies in 1994. Her titles included Vice President of Marketing or Engineering, President, and CEO. Later she switched to leadership consulting and writing on leadership and global issues. In 2015, she released the Power of One: You're the Boss. Her articles have appeared in Financial Times China, The Washington Post, CNBC, Bloomberg Businessweek, CIO.com, The Conference Board, American Management Association, Women Entrepreneur, and Black Enterprise. In 2019, she started the Kathleen Brush Foundation, which is committed to advancing women in leadership. Brush has a pre-law degree from the University of Central Florida, an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, and a PhD from Union Institute & University.
