Knut A. Jacobsen is professor in the study of religions at the University of Bergen, Norway, and author of numerous publications on various aspects of religions in South Asia and in the South Asian diasporas.
Anshu Malhotra is Kundan Kaur Kapany Chair of Sikh and Punjab Studies, and Professor, Department of Global Studies, University of California, Santa Barbara. She is a historian who has written extensively on gender, religious, and caste identities.
Kristina Myrvold is visiting professor of history of religions at Lund University, Sweden. She has directed several research projects on the Sikh religion and has published numerous works on Sikh religious practices and colonial history.
Eleanor Nesbitt is professor emerita (religions and education) at the University of Warwick, Coventry, United Kingdom. She is a founder member of the Punjab Research Group and has published extensively on Sikh tradition.
