Notă biografică

MARTIN CONAGHAN's first published writing work appeared in Aceville Publications' ComicWorld in 1992, in the form of interviews with comic-book writers and artists such as Grant Morrison and Steve Yeowell. This was followed by work for 2000AD and then Caliber Comics, where he wrote an issue of the popular Raven Chronicles. During the late 1990s he moved into mainstream journalism, producing a weekly internet column for The Big Issue and has written for every major Scottish newspaper. For the last twelve years, he has worked in sports broadcasting for the BBC. In 2011, he won Best Writer and Best Graphic Novel for Burke & Hare at the Scottish Independent Comic Book Awards. WILL PICKERING has been drawing comics intermittently since the age of two. His work appeared in various small press titles in the 1990s, including his self-published super villain series Something Fast. Following stints as a music journalist, youth worker, marketing executive and community activist, he returned to the medium in 2008 with The Spectacular Santa Claus, and began work on Burke & Hare soon after. Subsequent strips have appeared in Wasted, Futurequake and the forthcoming Black Hearted Love, and he is currently developing a graphic novel about the detective Allan Pinkerton from a script by writer Richmond Clements.
