Sarah Gerrard-Jones, author of The Plant Rescuer, is a self-taught plant obsessive with a passion for rescuing ailing houseplants and a particular interest in cacti and succulents. As @theplantrescuer on Instagram, Sarah has helped thousands of people understand how to make their plants happy and what to do if something goes wrong. She is a natural communicator and ardently believes in making plants, and their care, accessible to everyone.

Sarah exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022 and won Gold for her Houseplant Studio "The Plant Clinic". Her print and media appearances include BBC Gardeners’ World, ITV, The Times, Metro, The Scotsman, Gardens Illustrated and Homes and Gardens. She writes for BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine. She is a founder of the Plant Rescue Box, an RHS-backed initiative which aims to reduce the amount of plants thrown away by retailers.
