Dr. Dipak K. Mandal
Dr Mandal completed hisMaster’s Degree in Heat Power Engineering from Bengal Engineering and ScienceUniversity, Shibpur, West Bengal in the year 1999. He obtained his Ph.D in theyear of 2010 from the same university. He is currently  Associate Professor and Head of MechanicalEngineering Department at the College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat, WestBengal. He has worked at the Kolaghat Thermal Power plant. His research fieldsare computational fluid dynamics and bio-fluid dynamics. He has published severalpapers in international journals and conference proceedings. He has authored 1book and is a regular reviewer for several journals.
Professor Chanan S. SyanDr Syan graduated from the Universityof Bradford, UK in 1983 with a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. In 1988he obtained a doctorate from the University of Hull, UK in ArtificialIntelligence in Design for Manufacture. He has over 15 years of industrialexperience and over 28 years of academic experience. Presently, he is head ofProduction Engineering and Management Office (postgraduate office), Leader ofGraduate Programmes and Professor at the University of the West Indies. His researchspecializations include – Brain Computer Interface (BCI), Manufacturing, Designand Manufacture, and Asset Management. He is heading the BCI and Robotics andAutomation research groups.
