Wearing naught- -teeth chattering- -trapped in a pit- -staring at the beams of a moon that never seemed to move- -cowering. Weeping. What had they done to her? What did they want? Who, what, what. She wished for an end to her unrelenting questions and she wished, too, her injuries and weakness would allow her to escape this pit. She had to get out, had to flee. She went to the wall with the most outcroppings. She reached up, began to climb, whimpering each time her raw fingers gripped the jagged rocks, when those same edges made new cuts in the soles of her feet and deepened existing ones.
