This treasure of a historical book, CAMP LIFE IN THE WOODS AND THE TRICKS OF TRAPPING AND TRAP MAKING by W. Hamilton Gibson (1850-1896) was first published in 1881 and is republished here for the education and enjoyment of readers interested in these time tested methods of food procurement using snares, traps, deadfalls and contains many handsomely detailed original illustrations by the author W. Hamilton Gibson of many animals and of the means to procure them for food or for the elimination of vermin and predator. Mr. Gibson describes the characteristics and of the animals, as well as preferred foods, habitat and best trapping method for each. The Prepper Archaeology Project is a historic preparedness research collection of informative books. We search the antique book stores and the archives for old tomes of forgotten knowledge contained in out of print or forgotten books and make arrangements to republish them as a resurrection into good quality modern books. Meticulous care and detail in reproduction is undertaken to preserve and honor the originalauthor's works preserving the old time secrets and methods used by great pioneers and woodsmen. The books in the collection are hand selected by experts in their field for the Prepper community to enjoy and preserve historical lore will not be lost and may be reused again to face the disasters of an uneasy world once more.
