Aspiring chef Sarah Thomas isn't a very good liar, but when the opportunity to compete in a prestigious culinary contest presents itself, she jumps at the chance. Too bad the opportunity involves a whopper of a lie. She has to pretend to be engaged to playboy restauranteur Raffe Washburn. Raffe Washburn is sick of everyone chalking his success up to his father's money. He's desperate to prove he can achieve something on his own. So when his best friend suggests he borrow his culinary student assistant for the couples-only contest he's all for it. It should be easy, right? Pretend to be engaged, cook some meals, and take the prize.
