This story is a whimsical mystery that takes place in a rural residential area in Sylacauga, Alabama, east of Birmingham. The main characters are a couple of dog detectives with long crime fighting careers. The Canine Detective Club always has small crimes in the neighborhood to solve. But now, Detectives Poncherello and Magnum are faced with a turtle-napping. There is a twist in the case that shocks them both, to say the least. This is an entertaining book for the entire family.
