Notă biografică

Dr. Catherine Royer-Hemet teaches British History at the University in Le Havre, France. She has written a thesis, the title of which is "Preaching & Propaganda: an encounter of two phenomena during the Hundred Years War". She has published a number of articles about different aspects of her research in several French scholarly magazines. She is also the author of an article entitled "The lords in the Lord of the Rings", in which she investigates the concept of lordship in Tolkien's novel. The book was published by the CNRS. Her research is now moving on to the later part of the Hundred Years War and her interest is focusing on the nature of the renewal of propaganda during the reigns of Henry V and Henry VI.
